Body a Little Under the Weather, But Mind Fully at Work!
I've taken a small break these past few weeks due to my babies getting sick and them myself as well! I'm feeling a little better now so back to working on my project with full force. Actually, my mind never stopped working all this time. Its amazing wonders have been thinking and mapping out more ways for me to get my book out.
One particular idea that begs for action is to start my own inspirational website. Having browsed so many inspirational book blogs and websites, I feel very inspired to start my own. I think having one would be very fun to work on and maintain. In addition, it would be another way for me to help others. I'm very excited and eager to get started on this!
Another wonderful idea is in the works. I will share it with you once I figure out how to set it up! Stay tuned...
I've finally decided to share my wonderful news of 'Your Magnetic Mind' to my husband, family, and friends this coming January. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say!

The Next Big Thing Tag
I've connected with a wonderful book blogger named Frankie Blooding. She has tagged me and I would like to thank her for that. I believe she's doing a blog hop. I'm not sure how it works, but I'm willing to give it a try! =) Here are the questions that I'm supposed to answer:
What is your working title of your book?
I'm not currently working on another book but I am working on a helpful website that is related to the Law of Attraction.
Where did the idea come from for the project?
My project was inspired by all of the inspirational blogs and website I've visited lately while trying to promote my book, 'Your Magnetic Mind.'
What genre does your project fall under?
Self-help/Inspirational
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
I'm actually thinking about featuring inspirational stories to explain concepts.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your project?
A go to place for positive energy.
Will your project be self-published or represented by an agency?
I'm going to try and work on the website myself for now.
How long did it take you to plan your project?
Probably one month to plan the website.
May we see an intro?
I will probably give snippets of my progress on this blog.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Your Magnetic Mind
Who or what inspired you to do this project?
A desire to help others.
What else about your project might pique the reader's interest?
It's going to be an amazing piece of work!
Here are five wonderful bloggers/people that I would like to tag or recognize!

From Author to Book Promoter
I have been having an interesting time diving into the world of books and book promotions. It's like a project within itself! I've learned so much about how to get my book out there. Although it appears to be a lot of work, I definitely don't mind taking the action and representing my very own work. Furthermore, my passion for this project of mine is definitely through the roof.
So far I've learned about and connected with book bloggers and inspirational leaders around the world. One inspirational web owner named Gisele Guenard loved my book so much that she has recently dedicated an entire page on her website for the review of my book. You can read her review at this link:
http://www.womens-law-of-attraction-solutions.com/law-of-attraction-books-1.html
As far as other reviews, I have a couple on Amazon.com and 4 on Goodreads.com. They've all been quite positive! I'm so happy about the response so far. People like my book! =) To top it off, I've received numerous personal emails from grateful people who have read my book. For it to be touching lives means that I have created the very book that I had envisioned. I couldn't be more happy and proud!
I've also recently joined the Kindle Boards (forum) as an author and have started sharing my book with others. It's such a buzzing forum and I'm quite delighted to be a part of it! I've received quite a few warm welcomes.
Another wonderful piece of news: I've recently became a featured member on www.powerfulintentions.org! If you go to the website, you can see me as a featured member. I also have a personal profile page on there.
Being an unknown debuting self-published author has the statistics stacked against me. But I am not worried about statistics. I'm simply focused on getting my book out there as much as possible and then attracting ways to do just that. Part of creating something new is being creative. I'm kind of interested in what more ideas my magnetic mind with bring forth for me. I have a feeling there's an ingenious idea just around the corner.
Of course, if anyone out there has connections to media outlets or has ideas on how to get my book out there, I'd appreciate you letting me know!

Book Launch Update
It's been about a week since the launch of my book, "Your Magnetic Mind." Just seeing it on websites such as Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble makes me feel so accomplished! I have also received my first review on Amazon.com and Goodreads.com. It's actually a very positive one with five stars! I'm so ecstatic! Don't forget to order your copy today. =)
I've created an author page on Goodreads.com and have decided to do a book giveaway for a signed hardcover copy. So far I have over a hundred people interested in the giveaway. It ends November 2nd, so feel free to go there today and enter to win yourself. I also have sixty people who have marked the book as something they would like to read. Very exciting!
I've received a few copies of the Passion and Purpose book that I've co-authored in this year. This is another proud moment in my book writing journey. I currently only have three to sell, so if you are interested in a signed copy, just email me before they are gone.
For those of you who missed me on the feature at InspireMeToday.com, here is my answer to their question:

For those of you who missed me on the feature at InspireMeToday.com, here is my answer to their question:
If I could share 500 words of wisdom to summarize what I've learned so far in life, these are the important things I'd want to pass along to others...
Appreciate people. Growing up as a shy girl, I always kept to myself. I never felt compelled to depend on others or even communicate with the many wonderful people that surrounded me.
Now all grown up and having come out of my shell, I realize that one of the most happiest feelings in the world can be found in the connections that we make with others. The general kindheartedness that I find in people is enough to light up the universe.
We live in one life but also in one world that we share. As much control as we have over our own lives, it is very difficult to make it through all alone. From the floor that we walk on to the clothes that we wear, from the helpful hand that opens the door to the wonderful piece of music that fills our ears, there are countless ways that other people have made our lives better than what it could have been.
And whether you realize it or not, there are people appreciating you right now.
Understand that you attract what you think about. This has to do with your mental attitude of the mind and the special ability to select our thoughts. One might generally understand and even like this idea, but then immediately throw it out the window when a close friend tells lies. We may ask, "How in the world did I attract my friend lying to me?" Our mind swirls in an ocean of disbelief and frustration.
Throughout our lives, many things will occur. It is up to us to decide how we will perceive events and how we navigate through. Our minds are precious grounds for the creation of our reality; whatever we put in our mind will expand.
If we view problems in a negative light, we are actually allowing negative energy to prey upon our fertile minds. In this way, we are inviting problems to take over our being and we end up having to deal with the "problems." Rather, why not invite positive thoughts, ones that allow for solutions and productivity towards the coming future?
Since you attract what you think about, you should think about what you desire rather than about what you see and feel as wrong.
Be ready, be prepared. Dreams. Everyone has them, but how do we attain them? In order to own our dreams, we must be ready. Many opportunities will come our way in life but they will most likely pass us by if we are unprepared.
Whether it is meeting the right person or finding the right job, a "prepared" seeker will match well with his or her desired opportunity. On the other hand, a wishful thinker who lacks preparedness would have a lower chance of seizing an opportunity when it comes along.
Know what you want and then start preparing yourself to match what you envision.

Book Launch Day
Yahoo! I made it to the launch date. I have so many reasons to celebrate. I am ecstatic beyond belief! Today my book is officially on BookLocker.com, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, etc. The kindle edition is ready for download, but the ebook for the apple store will take another week. Also, for those interested in special ordering from a local bookstore, that will become possible in about a week.
I feel like I'm on top of the world now that my book has been published. I've reflected a lot on my journey and cannot help but smile at it all. My journey has not been perfect, but I have always had my eye on the end result and I am very happy with how my book turned out. =)
Check out my latest YouTube video to see my matte laminate books. I also give my thoughts on the Law of Attraction and how it relates to my journey. You will also see which names I drew for the book giveaways. Congratulations to all of the winners!
By the way, please visit http://www.inspiremetoday.com on October 4th to read my 500 word answer to this question:
